Started the day and week off on a positive note by chairing a 6am meeting at the Memorial Day Alcathon. Taking care of my mind and body feels amazing! Going to a parade in a little while to honor the vets for their service. Going to try so hard to stick to my calories today. That may not be easy with the holiday and plans for a picnic. I hope everyone has a safe and blessed day!

Why is it when I have a super busy day of running errands that I feel so much hungrier? I blew my calories and my 7pm cutoff. I Did get my walking laps and my water intake. But the calorie overage feels like a total failure. I guess I'll have to try to do better tomorrow. I really want my loss rate to continue at a good pace.

I love that my 17 year old son is totally involved in my diet and my calorie intake. He loves to cook for me and takes steps to make sure I'm still eating normal food in the healthiest way possible. For breakfast he likes to make me egg white omelets with salsa and a side of Turkey Bacon, all made with zero fat/calorie cooking spray. He also reminds me that it's OK to splurge a little once in a while. He just made me a grilled cheese sandwich with Bacon and tomato for 276 calories. It was delicious!
It certainly makes the diet easier with support from your loved ones! I am so blessed!
