Hello FatSecret (love the name of this site).
About 6 years ago, I weighed 140 pounds. I was not unhealthy, just super active. I played sports and trained about 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. Mostly, it was fun to do that.
6 years ago, I got a desk job and the weight has been piling on ever since. I get frustrated that I walk up stairs and run out of breath. I hate that my clothes don't fit me like they used to. I despise that when I play sports, I'm not as quick or as agile as I used to be. I'm in my late 20s, so I think I can change that for the remainder of my life.
I seriously need some encuoragement from people who find themselves struggling with the same thing. People around me don't seem to understand how emotional this is, but maybe I shouldn't expect them to.
Anyways, I would love to make friends to encuorage one another through this process, share tips, and reach goals together.
