Lost 45 w/ little effort, now with tons of effort I'm putting on weight??
well you are working out now using your muscles (strenghtening them) and muscle weighs more that fat (so I am told. You will probably not see as much weightloss but you should start seeing less inches around the waist, hips, legs and arms. My suggestion is measure yourself and keep a journal as well as up your calories a little to coincide with your calories being burned during your workout. Great job 45 pounds! GO YOU! You can do it I beleive in you. keep up the good work!

feeling not so good about myself today
I need a pep talk or something, not feeling good today, sad and feeling depressed. I was on a good routine at the beginning/ending of 2009 and 2010. Then in March I feel down my stairs and put on weight because I couldn't exercise on my wii like i was before because I was healing myself. I decided to get back on and I am not as motivated as before I was for the last few days just not today and can't seem to get it out of my head. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Weigh in
How often does everyone weigh in? Daily? Weekly? Bi-weekly? Or monthly?

Fitness and Exercise over 50
I feel that you should do whatever is comfortable for you and whatever it is you like to do. The more you read the more discouraged you will get. You are doing awesome right now so have it and keep going I beleive in you!

TONE UPS ROCK!
I got the slipper ones and didn't feel that way. They definately make you more flat footed. I tried them on at khols and walked around the shoe dept for about 5 minutes then put my other shoes on and it was such a difference for me. I got them and haven't stopped wearing them. The first day I could feel my muscles not so much when I had them on but when I took them off and relaxed I could feel the muscle burn. I wore them shopping for 9 hours and I felt it that night for sure. I talked to my doctor (surgeon friend) he highly recommends them. my posture, back and legs are much better. sometimes when I get up in the a.m. my back is killing me I put them on and about 5 minutes later I don't feel the pain.
