Having a hard time reaching my daily calorie goal. I know this is because ALL my favorite foods are on the excluded foods list. Hard to maintain for the long-term, despite how amazing I feel right now. It makes me nervous about what will happen if my self-discipline fails.

I've made all the diet eliminations JJ Virgin calls for in her book, but I'm not following her diet exactly in that I'm not drinking all the recommended shakes. So I say "reasonably well" but what I mean is "I'm following it as I intended to follow it when I started."

I did my first timed 5K (walking) today...51:00 minutes. I have short, short legs so I was booking it over hilly terrain.

I'm officially changing my diet to the Virgin Diet, even though I won't be following it exactly. Mostly because of the shakes. But I think an elimination diet will work well for me. I've "known" (aka "suspected") I had food intolerance issues for decades. This diet addresses those concerns. I've been cutting out the suspect foods for about a week and I feel a lot better. I think I may even be able to ditch my daily antihistamine soone.
