Starter Tips
I'm doing the Abs diet and in the womens book it has you calculate your % body fat so I did do some measuring. I know it works because I only lost a few lbs. but I went down 2% in my body fat. I do like the idea of measuring because I'm doing some weight training and all the books say "muscle weighs more than fat" so if you don't lose weight that week you might have lost muscle.
I haven't re-measured yet..but I know it's going to be good because I can feel it in my stomach. I'll let you know.
I also use the pitas or tortillas with wheat and flaxseed.
Good Luck!

Jumoing rope
I jumped rope or should I say I tried to jump rope as part of my circut training routine WOW!! I've never done an exercise that made me feel soooo out of shape. I feel like I need to keep doing it just to prove that I can. It's a great workout for an inhouse workout if you don't have a bike or treadmill!!

What!? No love for the abs diet?
Hi..like you my husband studied health in college but now we are in our 30s with 4 kids and we need motivation. The Abs diet seems to work great for both of us. (this is our 2nd time around) As a man my husband seems to lose twice the weight with 1/2 the work. We bought a bowflex and since we just started yesterday we'll keep you informed.
P.s.
Did my workout yesterday by dancing 45 mins with two small kids. My husband zero.

any one else doing the "abs diet for women"?
Started doing the diet yesterday and so far so good. I bought the book the abs diet for women. It is similar to the mens but it definately has some changes for women , especially in the smoothies. Less nuts which have the higher calories and fat. I'm looking for someone else that needs to lose at least 40 lbs like me. With a very busy life...4 kids!!
I need some moral support. When my husband siets with me he loses 2x as much as I do with 1/2 the work!!! Help.
