Well, back at it. After breaking my wrist a year ago, then having double hernia surgery, and getting older, everything hurts, and I gained about 10 lb. (I was doing my best to watch what I ate since I didn't exercise, so luckily that's all I gained, but I feel week as fuck. I can barely make it to gym once a week (bunch of kids' activities and working spouse). I'm not that overweight, but I'm very "Soft" with the dreaded belly fat and love handles. If I weighed 190 with muscle, I wouldn't be here sharing.
But after watching the documentary "Fed Up" which I heard about after doing some research on fighting cancer and avoiding all sugars, I decided to try it, as well as going back to a fasting routine. I highly recommend watching this short documentary.
Also had a session of cool-sculpting around my belly about 3 weeks ago, so let's see how this works out.

Monday the 8th was my 1st day after dabbing on no sugar on the weekend with only 1 minor slip up. Combined with the fasting and not having any sweets with my morning coffee and an unhealthy snack, I only consumed about 1200 calories yesterday, and on top of it I made it to them gym (my one day a week). Luckily I didn't feel faint, I paced myself. That's not a lot of calories for a 44 year old who's 6 ft. tall.

I should be on track today as well. As time passes, it become easier. Hardest thing is all those commercials on TV when you're trying to chill out at the end of the day, after pretty much semi-starvation mode.

If I eat dinner and my fruits at no later then 8 PM, I wake up at 5, so it's difficult passing over that hump in the morning to 12 hour fast. But if I keep busy, and that hunger pain goes away, I'm good to go. I also have to have my coffee with cream only (I like sweet coffee), that's hard, especially without any sweets, it doesn't taste that good, but keeps me going for another couple of hours. As I'm writing this, I'm going on to almost 14 hour fast, and I actually feel pretty good. Will have some wet hazelnuts, and lunch around 1.
