In reading one of my buddies journal I came to some realizations:
For me I have not been on a good journey. I blamed it on all kinds of things...but I know that it was all me being weak and lazy. I haven't gotten to the top of the mountain again. When I was there I plateaued and then I stopped. I know I was afraid to exercise as I don't like it. That was the next step for me and I just could not force myself to do it. I know that I am afraid to exercise and I am NOT going to lose more without adding some physical exertion to my life.
How do I overcome this fear that is stopping me dead in my tracks?

Hubby gave me rollerblades for my birthday present. Since it was 70 degrees and sunny on a Sunday in Minnesota on March 15th...I had no excuses to not try them out. Well I went out and I skated without falling Yeah ME! However, my feet cramped up so badly I could hardly stand. Thankfully he was with me and warned me that this would happen. He tells me after a couple times of doing it my feet will adjust and it shouldn't happen anymore. We will see...but I am proud of myself for getting out there and moving!

I had totally given up. But today is my 52nd birthday. I weighed myself last week and told myself this is ridiculous. I started again. I am down 4 pounds since last weekend. That is something to celebrate on this special day.

Bought myself a new pair of shoebotties on Saturday. They have 3" spike heels on them. Makes me feel feminine and pretty even though I am not. This may be the catalyst I needed to keep going...I want to be pretty in things like these. Instead of looking like a cow on stilts.
