i actually started the atkins diet 2 weeks ago at a start weight of 173lbs. the first week went really well, i felt great, loved the food, didn't feel hungry/tired and lost a fantastic 7lbs. by the second week though, i couldn't go the toilet, felt bloated and tired and had headaches. i was getting very bored with the food too. i weighed in, yesterday for the second time and had only lost 2lbs. i was really upset because i felt like i'd struggled all week for nothing. so, i had a bad day yesterday and didn't stick to the diet. this morning i decided to look for some new recipes to give myself a bit of variety and i found this site. hopefully now, with new recipes, useful advice and a bit of support, i will get through the next week with better results. my starting weight here is now 164lbs, i've still lost 9lbs in two weeks which is quite an achievement for me, so i'm looking on the bright side and will stay positive.
