Thursday was a forcible rest day. My allergies attacked me, and I lost. Even attempts to get it under control failed,i.e., taking my steroid nasal spray... so mid-morning, I called the front office and asked CAN I JUST GO HOME???? Before I knew it, I had the secretary in my class, then the AP. Bottom line, they said, IF YOU'RE SICK, YOU'RE SICK. GO HOME. I'm so ashamed that I did go home after fourth period, and I took my Claritin, two Tylenol, and was knocked out for the rest of the day. This was not how I imagined I'd enjoy my three-day weekend.

I will have Claritin in my closet from this day forward. My biggest mistake that Thursday was not having medication on hand, and then relying on other people's stuff. When I took Ms. Ramirez's children's allergy medicine, I thought I'd fall asleep in class. My kids would talk to me, and I'd be like, OH MAN, YOU GET A HUNDRED... COOL! NOW STOP TALKING TO MEEEEEEEE lol I think I was a little bit high.

Apart from allergies, though, I've been doing really well with my working out and stuff. I am truly back on track. Yesterday I went to Golds Gym and jogged a mile and a half on the treadmill, then today I jogged another mile and a half on the track. Now that's awesome because two weeks ago, I couldn't even walk that much. I'm improving fast! Before summer, I dare say that I might be able to RUN a lap like I used to. I can't wait!

I was so happy this morning because I weighed in at 208.5 (had to round it off, though)! I haven't been eating too badly, and I've been working out almost everyday, so if I didn't show progress in weight loss, I would have been sorely disappointed.

I think I've lost 6.3% of my body weight since Biggest Loser started. Yes! Hopefully no one catches up LOL

I've started working out with Angel again. I do FITT on Mondays and Wednesdays, then personal training group on Saturdays. In-between, I've been doing my own workout at Gold's Gym or just an exercise dvd at home. I've got a loooong way to go, as saying "I'm weak" would be an understatement. I can barely do full planks, squats, or even running. It's not a mystery why I've sunk so low when you consider that while Angel went on maternity leave, I did too LOL And I get SO FRUSTRATED with myself. Angel tells me to be patient, that I'll work up to gaining strength again... but when? I want it NOW.

Oh, but slowly, so slowly is the old me coming back. Yesterday I was on the treadmill for fifty minutes and jogged half a mile ONLY out of the three miles I did. That's ridiculous. I used to do a mile and watch tv the whole time, but yesterday I kept my eye on that clock, as if to ask aloud, "IS IT OVER YET???"

Well, three pounds is three pounds. That's a lot to lose, so I'm not complaining too much. :)
