It's getting colder out.... Crazy as it seems, I Love running when it's cool out. I went to sketcher's outlet today and got a couple pair of running shoes. I have Asic's but I wanted to try some thing lighter. These were on sale so I decided to try them. I also don't like my ankles covered so I tend to go towards a lower cut sneaker. We shall see. Today I got my run in. ( there was ice on the cars this AM)My third day of week 4 Yippee! I decided to take the run challenge to keep me motivated :) I also got in my P90 cardio and all my crunches. When I started the FS I joined a challenge that started at 10 crunches for the first week, second wk 20 ..so on until I hit 10 weeks doing 100 crunches. That was the best challenge because when I saw changes in my tummy I became very motivated. Now I do 200 crunches every other day.

Well it wasn't raining today... sunny out!But It's Cold Out!!! Those were my thoughts as I contemplated running. Doing this training every other day for endurance is fantastic. I started out on week one doing a 5 minute warm up walk, then a 1 minute run - 1 minute walk. A 1.5 minute run - 1 minute walk (x 6) then a 5 minute cool down. I am now on week 4 doing 3 minute run - 2 minute walk.. A 5 minute run - 3 minute walk (2x) back to a 3 minute run - 2 minute walk.. 5 minute cool down. By the time I get to week 14 I should be able to run 1 hour or any where from 8 to 10 miles depending on my speed... I'm actually guessing I'll achieve 6 to 8 miles. I always complain about doing a work out... complain complain complain.. I think I don't want to do it... I make myself do it... I then feel so much better, my adrenaline is going insane, therefore I know I'm burning a hell of a lot of calories during the rest of my day. That is if I work out in the am. Anyways, NOTE TO MYSELF.. Complain to yourself all you want if that's what motivates you.. otherwise shut the hell up and just DO IT!!!
