..........YEARS of weightloss struggles. Atkins was shared with me seven years ago and I went from 213 lbs down to 135. I HATE working out I have never enjoyed it so any exercise I get is what I do for a living and I am a merchandiser with 17 stores and there is plenty of lifting bending squatting and moving. I work full time and at home I do around the house what needs to be done. Kids grown and gone. At 42 years old I am getting ready to open my own business so also busy with that. Did I mention that I really dislike the whole work-out thing. I stretch every morning. My genetics are as such : dairy farm attatched to rear, atlas map on tummy (gifts from kids) wings that fly a small sesna. I am 5'6" and people tell me all the time "you look great!" well yes better than I did at 213 but IT JELLO "HIDING" and God bless spanx. I am happier with myself than EVER in my life. This is a lifestyle change and I've been very sucessful. I want to now reshape and resculpt my body's problem areas. No coincidence that I chose the pear for my pic.

Fat Fast
fat fast is high fat lo-protein. example: pork rinds dipped in sour cream, egg yolks and mayo, cream cheese with crushed macadamia nuts spread on sliced turkey with side of avacado. it is to help you in burning fat reserves. also helps when you have plateau'd.

Fat Fast
hi I am new to this whole internet talk thing so bear with me. I am very open and honest about my successes and failures, so if anything i say is offensive, I apologize. Just trying to share my experience, strenghth and hope. (sound like a recovery meeting? well been there done that too and still with it) I am so not new to DIETING. my whole life I have struggle with my weight. I know that I am preaching to the choir when I say that I have tried and failed at so many diffenent diets and weightloss fads. I bypassed yo-yo ing and lived a life of bungi dieting and everytime that cord broke and I crashed. One day in 1995 someone told me about an illegal drug that would make it so that I wasn't hungry. Ran to it and stayed with it FOR TEN YEARS. Life long addictions and the most debilitating one was food. August 2004 at 213lbs I was introduced to Atkins (o-my-lanta) It worked IT WORKED!!! The principles, techniques, and science. I took ownership of me and my choices. Was it easy? h*ll no. change is as difficult losing weight. I challenge anyone to look in the mirror and try to lie to one's self after eating a whole box of vanilla wafers saying "I only had one" You can't lie to yourself. We are our own worst enemy. Not to mention the media and what the world expects us women to look like and what is socially acceptable. They lie to us all the time, and we fall for it. This is how I get my reality check on "the real world" GO TO WAL-MART!!!! Look around THAT'S REAL. Now my success after a LIFE STYLE change, I lost 45 lbs the first four months(induction). Never in my life had I seen results like that, I kept with it. I started and 213lbs and now I am 135 yes!! I am prone to saddle bags and my butt is a 10 on good days and a 12 on bad. I have people look at me and say "but your so thin" UM ok NOT! I have resigned to the fact that I will never be a Sports Illustrate swim-suit model because the dairyfarm of cottage cheese that resides on my butt and having a child left me with a world atlas to read on my stomach. I could get better lift than a 747 with my wings. But I am HEALTHY! my joints dont hurt my back is fine and my heart is strong and bloodwork tells me that all my organs are functioning at an age I WISH I COULD BE AGAIN. But I am 42 and NEW! I am now reshaping with Yoga and Pilates at home (some of those positions are for no-one else to see you in) and I love it. I am learning to love the new me and LADIES whatever phase or method (legal and healthy) that you find that works for you, its ok. different body types diffents metabolisms required different approaches. (Oprah is rich enough if there was a magic pill or could be invented SHE would have done it!!) My 151 lb plateau was conquered by fat fast, one day a week, followed by lo-carb lo-cal and it is just another step closer to my goal. Thank you for letting me share, and here's a little nuggets to chew on, EVE started all of this back in the Garden of Eden, she fell into the lie and ATE. We were predestined to struggle with this issue. LOL
