Fitbit has an open API

I took the suggestion made in this forum to suggest Fitbit add FS to their app list. Apparently they have to do it on their end, FS is ready to send the information out to Fitbit, Fitbit has to add them to the app sync list. I wrote in a Fitbit forum that they need to add FS to the app list. Several people have suggested this already as well, maybe if enough of us write to them, they will act on it.

New to the site!
My husband and I just got our Fitbit Flex yesterday, I am currently reading up on it. After reading this, I believe I will be using FS for all that is food, the database at Fitbit is just pathetic, and no barcode scanner. That is just pain crazy since Fitbit seems to be so popular. Is myfitnesspal as easy to use as FS?

How to remove an exercise
scoutharper, I understand your frustration. It's hard to be totally accurate, I use housecleaning for a lot of things b/c the activities aren't in the drop down menu. Not sure how accurate it is, but this way I know I was doing something other than sitting or lounging. I do add sitting too usually, it's better than resting. Today I moved furniture around for an hour, don't know what that would fall under! lol Good job hanging in there.

Bloated all the time
Fundita,
I have problems with bloating when I get too much salt. I also bloat very badly when I have slacked off of my exercise routine and start up again. I can be swollen for a week or two. My body is a fat, salt, and lactic acid hoarder. Bad body! lol Good luck with your experiment, I hope you find the cause so you may find a solution.
