Well, my daughter suggested I drink more water. While still trying to eat sensibly, I haven't focused on food this week, and it appears drinking more water has helped.

Very discouraging. I am eating 1000-1200 calories per day and not losing weight. I know it's likely because I've started eating more carbs, but I can't eat eggs for breakfast every day, and I don't like yoghurt. Evidently just keeping my calories down isn't cutting it, and what's the point if as soon as I go back to eating flour it all comes back on. I've tried having rice krispies with bananas for breakfast occasionally and thought if I ate carbs earlier in the day I may be okay, but apparently not. Getting old is a pain in the butt.
