My average day starts at 4am and I am on the road for about 1.5 hours to arrive at the police training academy where I am an instructor. I work 4 10 hour shifts and I get to work out approx. 1 hour each day during my lunch break. I try to eat healthy but I can't seem to lose the weight around my mid section. I do lift heavy weights though (1100lbs between my bench, squats and deadlifts) but I do cardio as well. I want to get down to 200lbs :)

Weight Lifting Diet
Thank guys!!! Diablo, I'm trying to maintain 3000 calories but in reality I usually end up around 2200. I think I just need to eat more veggies and lean meat to attempt to shrink my mid section and of course up the cardio.

Weight Lifting Diet
Hello Everyone!!!
I am trying to lose about 30 pounds but I really don't want to lose ground on my weightlifting program. I am trying to maintain around 3000 calories/day and really limit my carb. intake to under 100 watch my sugar and let protein be what it is which is around 150gs. Does anyone have any advice on this or success stories Smile
