Not bad I am proud of my self. Only been tracking my weight;food;exercise for 4 days. I am not letting my self get ahead of my own progress so I am going to gym tomorrow or rather Tuesday the 11th to do swim aerobics

I did well today I was under 1300 cal and was able to have a treat included I did not flub or fudge the food at all if it passed my lips I recorded it. So proud of myself. I do need to wonder though on the cal count on normal activities, such as driving shopping housecleaning etc.... how do we count those? I mean weight and age and gender count, so I get the cal burned from the gym computer counts because it has that info for me so it counts that as part of keeping track. So how do they count them, I do house work really careful and fully in-depth but others do it at different rates so how do they count them anyone know?

COMPLETELY DEPRESSED !!! My HUSBAND is away for the second week in a row. He needs to stay away because he works up north, and we live in SoCal. He was to come home for the weekends from Sat afternoon till Monday evening. But he was unable to come down this weekend and I am unable to go up. So here I sit with a pasta dinner and to be fare I did not eat all of it. But, I am eating a Nutty Bar. And so far have left the box of Girl scout cookie (Thin Mints)in the freezer. I am Sitting here feeling sorry for myself and am just doing enough not to eat anything else. I feel like crawling up and crying.

I try to maintain the idea that the word "DIET" is a four letter word and needs to be treated like one, meaning not spoken or repeated just best to not use it. Instead I make sensible, smart choices and changes to my eating habits. So what did I do?! I eat more boneless, skinless chicken and more fish and limited my red meat. I eat and enjoy fresh fruit and salads, and even eat sweets. BUT, with sweats and starches like rice breads and potatoes, I just eat smaller portions. I have joined a local gym and had my first workout today. I did 5 machines working my core body parts. I did 3 sets of 8 reps each. I also did 10 min on a tred-mill. I plan on doing 1 day of caradio, 1 day of aerobic and 1 day of strength training. I hope to use a variety of the classes. like yoga and zumba and work up to some of the boot-camp workouts. I will also keep on riding my bicycle on Sundays.
