I am a 30 year old mother of 3. I have a 9 year old son, a 6 year old daughter and a 20 month old son. I have always been overweight by societies standards, but I was always very active and in great shape. Once I graduated from high school the sports stopped and I became really lazy. I pretty much just worked and slept with very little active in between. So in the last 12 years I have gained around 240 lbs!! I didn't even realize that was possible! It happened so gradually that I didn't really notice until it was too late. I need to do something now not only for my health, but for my children. It breaks my heart not to be able to get out there and play with them and do the things that kids love to do. So far I have been lucky and don't have any health issues, but I need to get things under control before I do. My goal is to get back down to 200lbs. That might seem like a lot to most people but compared to where I am now a size 20 sounds great!
