New Year's day
Fast day - visited friends and did not end up having first snack until after 3pm - a bit head-achey and definitely looking forward to having more fuel tomorrow. I have just started a new training regime (running/walking intervals) and today was a designated rest day, probably a good thing. I am looking forward to tomorrow's workout after a decent fuel up in the am :)

Was surprised to find that I not only did not wake hungry during the night but also that I was not starving on waking, in fact, did not eat anything until almost noon. I did find that increasing my treadmill workout by five minutes was a little tough and had to reduce the speed toward the end - tank on empty I think. It will be interesting to see through this experience just how the body reacts to fasting and exercising :)

Finished up with 449 cal for my 500 cal fast day and have felt much better throughout the day than last time. If I can push on with this regime through Dec-Jan I should be able to do it any time, touch wood :)

Yesterday was to be my fast day but hubby suggested brunch out so swapped it out to today. Did not keep track in here of calories yesterday, did eat more xmas treats than necessary, but not going to beat myself up over it at this time of the year as long as I keep the exercise on track. It is now 3.20pm and I had a 20 minute jog on treadmill this am (intervals, avg speed 8.8kmph) and then had first snack approx 1pm. Feeling pretty good so far, much better than at this stage during the first fast day so perhaps they do get easier (not so easy to stick to set days of the week at this time of the year, but that is the beauty of this system, you can just swap out to the next day if need be).
Hubby is out over dinner time tonight so should be less of a challenge than if he were here barbequing :)

Boxing Day - family Christmas catch up - grazing all day, not great food choices but I knew this would be the case today so made sure to fit in a jog and a swim. Tomorrow is fast day (should be called SLOW day) once again, wish me luck :)
