So I ALWAYS clock in at or shortly before 9 and then weigh in ;) I always take off my watch, boots, belt and wedding ring (because I wasn’t wearing any of those on my first weigh in)
Today (with my kids beside me) I take off my jewelry and boots and the scale says 150.2 (UP 1.2#-grrrr) and quickly get off before my emotions erupt. Put myself back together and go downstairs to my desk, three kids in tow.
Fast Forward 3 hours and I realize I didn’t take off my belt! So I use the restroom and go up to the scale again, removing EVERY thing this time and it says 149.2…so I’m thinking ohhh 2 oz and I’ll be “maintained” and get the light bulb in my head *ding ding* I have on two shirts! So I take off my bigger and outermost ComCare T-shirt….drum-roll please!!!......148.6!
Okay so I know this is unofficial but this gives me hope where earlier between the two scale checks I was beginning to think, this is never gonna work just “F” it then I argued with my self and said, No you’ve already had your ONE soda today and damn it you’re gonna stick with this. I’m glad I didn’t go for another soda that I didn’t need because I’d be cussing myself even more right now. Instead I picked up a few small plates, napkins and couple knives for my apples, orange & banana I brought.
