A secret I have taken in from dieting and "Bulking" is your body adapts quick to what you feed it. So I diet strictly by the book or at least 90% by my plan Monday through Friday...5 days a week. While dieting more than likely you're keeping your Fats, and/or Carbs low which is good for weight loss, but believe it or not it can actually speed up fat loss by "Refilling the tank" once to twice a week depending on how close you follow your diet. Like I said above I follow my personal plan nearly dead accurate 5 days a week, but come Saturday (today) I simply change my diet a little. I still eat clean, and good I just don't count my calories nor macro nutrients....I basically eat as much as the food I want as long as it's in my plan. Now, come Sunday I completely trash my diet all around. I eat what I want when I want, and however much of it I want. Doing this "Refills the gas" of my body ...kinda tricking it into using and burning all these calories as fast as possible. Mondays are hard to swallow because I normally gain a pound or a pound and a half, but mostly because of the sodium through the weekend (Body holding water.) Come the end of the week I'm back to nearly 2 pounds less from the previous Friday. I've been doing this trick for nearly a month and have dropped a total of 6 pounds in doing so. Would I recommend this trick to you? I'm not sure, I'm 30 years of age so dropping weight doesn't come as easy anymore so I'm sure its even harder for others who are older than I am, but it may be a simple trick you can use to jump start your weight loss and/or get you out of that rut.
