I'm a 26 year old SAHM of 2 beautiful girls(39 mos & 19 mos). Born and raised in the south so anything fried will do!!!!!!
I've gained over 100 ibs in the past 10 years. In June 2006, when I went to deliver my daughter, I weighed in at 330 pounds!!!!! So in 19 months I've lost 40 pounds without trying. So now I'm really trying.
It's not for health reasons because I'm as healthy as a horse and the size of one too!!! I guess I want to lose weight before my children realize I'm fat. I don't want others making fun of them because they have a fat Mamma!
I started slim fast because it seems easy. I really don't have alot of time to myself. Let me correct that, I DON'T HAVE ANY TIME TO MYSELF. Planning meals for myself really isn't realistic for me. I just grab a shake and go!!!
I am planning our first family vacation to Florida in May so I'm really optimistic about losing 40 lbs. I think 4 months is a healthy amount of time to lose the weight.
Totally stoked about making friends and gaining as well as giving some support and laughs along the way!!

Should I or shouldn't I?
Okay here it is... I'm dieting for health and all that. We are going on our first family vacation in May. I'm one of these super organized nut jobs who has to plan everything down to the tee. I have already reserved a rental car, got reservations for a condo, etc. I have a book of checklists, instructions, daily iteneraries, prices, etc. Well I'm trying to plan if I'm going down there to cook for my family or eat at restaurants. I'm researching the restaurants to decide where to eat and stuff. So my question is... SHOULD I BRING MY DIET ON VACATION WITH US OR LEAVE IT AT HOME WITH THE DOG AND CAT? Idea

Here's what I do... I do my best to weigh once a week and NEVER around that time of the month!!! Shock I weigh in the mornings but not as soon as I wake up. I go to the bathroom, brush my teeth, get the girls' breakfast on the table and then I weigh. When I first wake up, I'm 2 pounds heavier than 30 min later. Crazy!?!? I weigh in my nightgown. Girl please, jeans my size add like 5 pounds in material to the scale! Thats alot of denim! Whatever you do DO NOT WEIGH YOURSELF AT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRUST ME!!!

Just for fun.....What's the weirdest food combo you like?
Ewwww! That is a trip!!! I honestly have never thought of that. I've never even tried sardines. My papa is norwegian and he would bring those in the house and totally smash on them. They stunk up the house something awful! I'm gonna have to pass but thanks!! That is one for the books--definitely!!!Laughing

This is just for fun.....What is the weirdest food combo you like? Pregnant or not pregnant, it doesn't matter.
I would have to say mine is brussel sprouts and ketchup. That is so yummy. My hubby thought it was gross until he tried it. My 3 year old even likes it.
I guess it's true.....Ketchup does make everything taste better!!!Very Happy

Raise your hand if you're tired of skinny people telling you how to lose weight!!!!
I mean, come on.... If you weighed 300 pounds and lost 150 of it the right way, ie. no surgeries or supplements, go ahead and tell me your life story. PLEASE!
Cheaters are those who have bypass and lipo. I am completely uninterested in anything you have to say. I have no sympathy for you.
You real people who sincerely try to lose weight and are starving right along side me, be my friend!!!!!!
I have people in my family telling me what to do. My pet peeve is the "Drink alot of water". Yeah that quenches my thirst!!! Not my desire for a grilled steak and baked potato swimming in butter!!!Laughing
Anyway, I've done really well today. For dinner, I am making a huge pot of chicken soup. I use boneless skinless chicken breast, veggies, onions, tomatoes and tons and tons of italian spices. Its soooo yummy and totally guiltless!!!
