Hello!

I am a 30 year old wife and mother who works full time in training and marketing in the health care world. I have one toddler (Leo born 3/4/05) and one baby (Riley born 3/28/07). Both boys!

I've been at least slightly over weight since college but have really packed on the pounds after the kids!

I just lost FIFTY POUNDS by working out and eating healthy foods. The first 50 was easy - now we're down to the wire and it hard hard hard!!!! I just joined the WW core plan with my best friend, maybe that will help me stay on track.

My focus is on fresh whole foods, little to no meat, and working out.

I like photography, art, movies, and reading. I'm in an MBA program right now that leaves little times for hobbies though!

My husband and I were high school sweeties and have been together forever. He is a computer programmer and teaches kung fu as well, so he's in great shape. He's very supportive of me though.

Raw Diet
I spent a lot of time on the WW Core plan doing "high raw" - two meals a day all raw fruits and veggies, some grains and nuts then a cooked light meal at night. I lost 50 lbs. I moved to one raw meal a day now, weight is coming off slower but it works better with my lifestyle right now. Going all raw would be really hard, unless you lived alone or stayed home a lot. You can do it in a very healthy way but it takes a lot of research. I was actually eating more calories but losing more weight too. I had a lot more energy.

I don't want to be a buzz kill, but...
I get etools free with my WW membership but I stopped using it for that same reason. I never even posted to the forms because I saw how negative everyone is and there don't seem to be any moderators to take care of it. People are a lot nicer here, I can track my food and I'm on core so I don't do that much point tracking (although who knows what changes today will bring as it's NEW PLAN day for weight watchers! My next meeting isn't until Wednesday though!)

Are you BORN TO BE WILD?? --->Challenge! - Yellow Lamborghini's
I'm really busy and can't keep up with all the posting and side challenges but I am weighing in and trying to post when I can!

I had a bad week last week but I'm determinted to make this one better! I had a huge workout last night with my trainer and again on my own this morning! Friday is my day off from the gym but I'm sure I'll still be walking or doing a workout DVD or something!
