I was diagnosed with breast cancer last September. It has been a hell of a year but I'm ready to take charge of my health and take better care of my body! My husband and I did a lot of research and our eyes were opened to all the crap in food these days. So we've changed our mindset about food and what we put in our bodies. Over the past 3 months we have revamped to eating a diet consisted of at least 70% organic foods. Its a good start for us and we know better now.

Well I haven't quite met my weekly goals since March! In fact, I am 21 lbs behind :-P BUT, that's ok, I've maintained :) I need a jump start to get back on track and refocus my nutrition so I'm going to do a bottle of the Dynamite 180 and pick up where I left off :)

Well, I'm pretty much run the course of the Dynamite 180 Diet, and although I didn't quite get to my first 10% goal, I think I did pretty well with a total of 27 lbs lost in 2 months. A great jump start to my next step in a healthy lifestyle change :)
So what's next!? Well I want to take the bull by the horns and strive to lose 3lbs a week over the next 7 months! To do that, I've calculated that I need to stay within the RDI of 1650, and burn between 1500 - 1750 extra calories a day! That all equates to a lot of discipline and determination.
The 180 Diet has really helped to equip me for a healthy eating lifestyle. I actually like fruits and veggies! And I don't absolutely HAVE to have bread. And soda!? I don't have any interest to drink it anymore. Herbal teas have been my new rave! Why drink your calories when you can use them towards something yummy like cheese, nuts, or avocado!?
Also, I totally understand that the more I lose the harder it will be to burn that minimum of 1500 calories a day! Afterall, the more you weigh the more calories you burn just to exercise. But, hey, I need to just go for it, and learn about what my body is capable of, and give it a chance to make my goals happen! One day at a time!
I also would like to use these helpful tips as a guideline in training myself to battle emotional eating....http://www.thelondoner.me/2012/01/anti-diet.html
