Goal Weight:117.0 lb
following: Weight Watchers
performance: gaining 1.3 lb a week

Ever since High School I have been around 136/137 pounds. I'm only 5'4", but I have always danced and been pretty active so it was a lot of muscle so I was never really overweight. It stayed that way until college - and now I've been out of school for almost 4 years. I'm still around the same weight, but let me tell you that my body has CHANGED. 136 pounds of dancer muscle looks a lot different than someone who spends a lot of the day inside at a computer or entertaining clients at a bar (I'm not a stripper, I'm in sales.)

I'm actually more active than most, as I live in New York and walk pretty much everywhere. Am I "overweight"? No. But I'm definitely at the point where if I have a bad few months I could be.

I'm only 24 years old (will be 25 in a couple of weeks) and I really need to celebrate a wonderful body while I have it...

GOALS!!!

1. BE UNDER 130 POUNDS
2. LOSE 10 POUNDS

I'm not setting any more for the time being. Once I reach GOALS 1&2 I'll go from there. My probelm is always that I lose a couple of pounds, get frustrated, and give up. If I have little goals, hopefully it will be easier.

Let's go 130!!

A Weight Question
http://www.weightwatchers.com/health/asm/calc_healthyweight.aspx

according to this link, you're actually underweight. i would suggest not LOSING any more weight, just going to the gym and getting into a weight training regimen - that way you can tone up any problem areas.

good luck!!

carbohydrates
I love bread too! I'm a total carb freak. I think the key (especially in Weight Watchers) is portion control. Let yourself have whatever treat you like - but only eat one or two points worth, and STOP yourself after that. Personally, I crave fresh croissants... there's this amazing bakery around the corner from me. I allow myself to have a croissant once a week (6 points) and it's TOTALLY worth it!

But really - don't deprive yourself of the things you love. You'll only end up gaining BACK the weight once you take it off. Learn to eat what you love in moderation, and you'll stay lean forever!

GOOD LUCK!!!
