My own fault. Ate low carbs but about 4000 calories worth of them! I made the jalapeno poppers and the Greek Quiche (meaning to keep the quiche for Saturday's lunch) but then ploughed through large portions of both! Oh well, I'm not going to break out the whip and begin the castigation just yet. I'll allow myself a bad day and get back in the saddle today. Onwards and upwards (or downwards!)

So my weight loss is slowing down now. That's fine. Not quite as much fun, but fine!

Another good day yesterday - full of the zeal of the first week! Let's see how long this holds up. I know the weight loss will even off so now the trick will be to try and keep my own enthusiasm firing on all cylinders! Well I have the incentive of fatsecret now. This is why I'm glad for this site. Without having started this diet for all to see I could very easily say "Ah the heck with it" after a few days and go back to enthusiastic over-eating.

Yippee! It kicked in! I should have known it was working overnight because I couldn't sleep, but this morning on the scales makes up for it!
