Three words that best describe me right now....OUT OF CONTROL. I went walking at lunch with my friend Jill...and came to the conclusion that I'm an out of control eater. I eat healthy, and go into each day with the best intensions, but then the vending machine beckons me, or the desserts a co-worker brings in, or sneaking candy bars. I know one of my roadblocks right now is because I know the fertility stuff is just around the corner again, which is my time to take a break from exercising etc again. BUT...I can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that I can exercise, eat healthy and lose weight and when its time to do the fertility process again, that I just need to stop working out, but continue with eating healthy. Its like I have some roadblock in my head telling me that its all or nothing.

I've decided to join WW's again, because I need that accountability. I can lie to myself as much as I want, but when push comes to shove and I get on that scale with the WW leader…I can't lie about that. I need motivation, and I can't seem to find it on my own right now. Very frustrating. ='(

Finally back online! Closed on our new house on the 10th….took the week off from work and just concentrated on painting and cleaning all week long. Its amazing how much we were able to accomplish in a week! My mom also took the week off and helped paint (we are talking 8am until 10pm every single day! And not one of us lost our motivation! Was a great team!). Hubby's mom was amazing too…she became our personal shopper (so we never had to leave the house for something we forgot)…and made sure that we had healthy lunch and dinner every day! Moving day came on the 15th…and 10+ of our family and friends came and helped unload the Pod…it was unloaded so quickly that they ended up also helping unpack some boxes, put together furniture, etc. was amazing (and exhausting). Every day since has been going to work (wishing we were at home working on it!) and then going home after a 9 hour day to do more painting….and of course any time on the weekends is spent doing the same. We only have a few more rooms to do (then its onto the outside to paint)! The previous owners haven't done any maintenance on the place in 12 years..so the walls are just sopping up the paint! Its crazy!

I feel like I've done a LOT of exercise getting the house painted and cleaned :) and are anxious to weigh myself to have a starting point again (once I find the batteries for the scale!). Just went to Costco and picked up some fresh veggies and fruit…..so good to have those items back in the house again! Another good thing with moving….all the junk food is out of the house as well…so the only way it will come back in…is if we buy it new now…..which we aren't planning to! Over this next month…we'll be painting the finished basement…and then setting up the exercise equipment….have my treadmill back from my brother now! Just need to set up the space now…and the rate we are moving with it now…it'll be done within 2 weeks! :)

Hope everyone has been staying cool this summer (its been super hot and humid on the east coast!)

Total chaos! We sold our home…and moved out last Tuesday…had movers lined up to help us load into a storage pod…they ended up bailing on us!! So in a panic, we called our friends and family to see who could come help us…thankfully we had a few friends and my brother make the time and came to help us with what seemed was going to be impossible to pull off before the Pod people came back to pick it up later that afternoon! Then the next few days of living on an air mattress, moving misc stuff over to my mother-in-laws house (took quite a few trips), my dad coming over with the truck for the larger stuff that couldn't fit into our tiny cars and cleaned up until 10:30 at night on Thursday…then had the closing on that Friday. Phew! Was good to finally be done…although sad to leave the place that hubby and I started our lives together (he had just bought the place when we started dating).

So now we are at ma#2's house for 3 weeks, until we close on our new place. We have been helping her around the house, mowing the lawn, cutting down tree limbs, and other general maintenance :) She's even been making us healthy breakfast and lunches to bring into the office, and we've made a few dinners and healthy breakfast as well :) Hubby and I also joined the gym, which is in walking distance from ma#2's house, for 2 weeks (they were having a special $20/for two weeks) and so far we've gone 2 out of the 3 days :) Feels good to get back there. We will be setting up a gym in the basement of our new place, so won't be continuing the gym membership past the 2 weeks…but it’s a good kick start to getting back in shape. The scale is packed away with the rest of our stuff, so I won't be seeing what my weight is at. BUT…I am confident that with eating the healthy meals…added exercise that the scale will show a loss. My jeans are already feeling a little looser…sooo we shall see!

Looking forward to some relaxation over the new few weeks, and also getting caught up on my fat secret buddies journals! :)
