Happy to a see a weight loss at the scale this week. I'm tried to do some pre-planning for Easter....I weigh in at Weight Watchers on Mondays, so we will see what tomorrow brings. I adapted some of my reciepes and made some simple swaps like light butter in place of the high test butter and skim milk in lieu of half in half for the mashed potatoes....and they came out great and the kids didn't even notice :) I opted to skip my traditional pineapple stuffing as Kevin and I are the only ones who eat it. While I do love it, it's not healthy in the least and I honestly didn't miss it today. I finally tried spaghetti squash this week and discovered I LOVE it. Today, I roasted it with light butter, garlic and salt and pepper. After it was done, I tossed it with grated Parmesean cheese. It was awesome and even the kids liked it. It's my new favorite veggie. For dessert, I made a from scratch pineapple upside down cake. I did sub in whole wheat flour and I used fat free buttermilk, but kept everything else the same...after all, it is Easter. I may pay for it tomorrow....I tried not to over eat, but I was lax in actually measuring. But other than today, I did we'll with sticking to the plan. I walked 2 miles twice (need to increase that) and got in 10,000 + steps most days.

Well...I gained 8 oz this week. I thought I stuck to the plan pretty good....I used a lot of my weekly allowance, but I still had 7 weekly allowance points left. SO, I was pretty bummed to a see an 8 ounce gained. But, it's a new week. I'm thinking of switching up my lunches this week and taking salad with fat free feta and (1) hard boiled egg in place of the canned soups. We will see what next week brings :)

Did well! Pleased with my weight loss. Did better at lunch time, tried to do more pre planning and rely less on processed food and I also,paid more attention to the sodium levels in the food I was buying. I ended up using "most" of my weekly points...did snack in front of the TV, wasn't really hungry, but everyone else was having popcorn so I did too. I need to work on that! It was air popped and I used the light whipped butter (only 1 Tbs) but I wasn't hungry and didn't need it. Would of rather of spent my points on a treat or something that I really wanted. Power walked 2 miles with Ripunning Rascals. Bought a pedometer, trying to get at least 10,000 steps a day.....that's harder than I thought! :)

Did well overall. Did not dip into my weekly allowance and saw better results at weigh in. I've been doing Weight Watchers since Feb. 4, 2012. So I am down 5.2 in a month....I'll take it :)
