Well, I honestly wondered if I'd ever get there, but I finally cracked the 100kg invisible barrier. I'm now 99kg!

I am just making better choices, and I have really tried to listen to my body so I can stop eating before I feel full. I remember how awful it feels to be really full and bloated.

I think my tummy is shrinking...I am enjoying finding things I like to eat that can speed up my weight loss. Currently I love sushi and my special favorites are seaweed salad and the various seafood salads at the sushi shop. Anyway, something's finally working, yay me! Phew...it IS possible!!!

Breakfast - A bowl of sultana bran with oat clusters, low fat milk and half a banana, sliced, on top. Cup of tea with milk and sweetener (Sukrin:1)

Mid Morning - 15 Pistachios with orange juice or peach iced tea.

Lunch - Ham rolled up with half a cheese slice and half a gherkin on each (or Berliner slices with curried egg rolled up). 1 orange. 1 cup of tea.

Mid Afternoon - 1 mandarin and 10 cashews or a cheese triangle. 1 peach iced tea.

Dinner - Steak or fish with a green salad, homemade coleslaw, a small boiled potato and a slice of fresh pineapple. Sometimes steak with mushrooms and a small potato. 1 cup of tea or coffee.

Dessert - Some tin fruit in juice and a little bit of cream.

Wow. After years of dieting and hardly any change, it's hard to believe I am actually starting to lose properly now! I followed someone's advice and started taking Magnesium supplements and it seems to be working. I just have to put up with going to the bathroom twice a day hahaha. I think I can handle that as long as I keep losing.
I am also taking high potency Garcinia, but that wasn't really doing much except to reduce my appetite a little. I saw no loss on the scales from that alone. Now I am taking Super Bio Magnesium, Garcinia and a combination of Cod Liver Oil and Fish Oil in a soft capsule. Mostly I wanted to fight the inflammation that has been building in my body, so I did some research and got what I needed.
Three years ago I was at 112kg. I dieted for two years (clean eating) and got to 105kg where I stayed for another year, seemingly stuck. The magnesium has managed to move things along now (literally) and I plan to continue with it. In the last week and a half I lost almost 2kg and I am so pleased with that.

Once I asked a nurse who lost a lot of weight what easy tip she could give me to get the weight off and keep it off. She thought a minute and then said 'When I am worried that the weight is going on again I start taking Magnesium.' She said she found a brand that doesn't have her rushing to the bathroom, and she takes it for a few weeks. It makes her more regular and starts her back on track to losing again. I am trying this. I found a good one with D3 and Calcium also in it. I take 2 every morning now and so far, so good. 'Going' twice a day now, which has to be good and it's also helping with my chronic inflammation. I'm still taking the Garcinia but can't say it has done much yet, although my appetite has reduced. I am drinking more water because I found out that when we are dehydrated it puts too much burden on our liver, and mine needs all the help it can get. :)

I have started taking Garcinia Cambogia (Super-7,500mg), one tablet half an hour before meals, twice a day. I've been taking it for about 4 days, and thankfully, I have started losing a little bit instead of either stalling or adding weight. What I found out is that it makes it possible for me to do a bit of intermittent fasting. If I take my morning tablet and just have a cup of tea, I can easily do without food until 11am. Not hungry at all, and weirdly don't actually think about food, which is amazing.

I have decided to have meals that I really love (healthy and light) and not think it makes any difference whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. Sometimes I just feel like eggs, bacon and mushrooms for the evening meal. I made Chinese Spring Rolls for dinner last night and they were tasty and filling and I didn't feel like I was dieting. I guess they were pretty light on carbs too -those wrappers are so thin and I just put them on a biscuit tray and sprayed them with olive oil spray, then cooked them in the oven, instead of frying them. They were great and so crisp! Some nights I might just feel like soup and a slice of toast. I'm allowing myself to eat what I want when I want and trying to eat more 'from scratch' meals.

I am starting over for 2017.
I bought a new set of scales.
I weigh the same now as my last weigh in 5 months ago, which is 105.1Kg.
I am going gluten-free due to digestive issues. There are plenty of products available for that these days, even nice bread - but expensive.
Doing Yoga with You Tube videos.
I am trying little tweaks as a permanent change to my diet.
Thinking of trying Subway when looking at take away - sweet onion chicken teriyaki subs.
Drinking more grapefruit juice and orange juice, less soft drink. Using Xylitol in tea. Lactose free milk. Drinking more chilled water.
Learning to stop eating when I feel satisfied, and my stomach is shrinking a bit.
Taking tablets for Candida, and taking green coffee diet pills, 3 per day. Aiming to lose at least 5kg by 5th March, 8 weeks' time, to get down to 100kg. Aiming to lose at least .5kg per week from now on.
