Day 5 of Cabbage soup Diet

2 more days until diet starts. And the cabbage soup ends. Tasty but getting really old. Folks say I will lose up to ten pounds. They keep telling me to wait and see, okay. Did I mention I have two more days???

Cabbage soup
To be eaten for one week only for a quick start to weight lose.
Ingredients
1 head Cabbage
1 lb onion
2 cups , chopped Bell pepper
2 cups chopped celery
5 cloves garlic
4 cups , chopped carrot
4 cups , pieces or slices mushrooms
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp garlic
6 cups chicken broth
1 packet lipton onion soup mix
Directions
Start the night before you start your first week of fast weight lose.
In a large stock pot add 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil on medium heat.
Add onions, garlic and peppers, heat until onions are clearish.
Next add celery and mushrooms.
Next add carrots, lipton soup mix, chicken stock and spices.
Bring to a boil, turn down to simmer.
Add cabbage pushing it down into the liquid, then add filtered water until cabbage is covered.
Cook for one hour. Turn off. Cool down. Refregerate until the next morning. Reheat and eat everyday for one week.
