Day 23
Lost another 3.5 lbs. I find that I am terrible at the whole 50% carbs, 25% fat, 25% protein thing. I am usually have equal fat/carb, like 40% fat, 40% carb, 20% protein. I am going to try and work on that this week.
299.0 lb Lost so far: 16.0 lb.    Still to go: 124.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Congrats on the weight loss. I think what you're seeing with the numbers is not that you have the ratio off - it's just that you're not eating enough carbs. Have a couple slices of whole grain bread, or some brown rice, or a bowl of cereal, and get yourself another 300 calories that way, and everything will be in better balance. And yes, that means eet mor fud.

You have to eat enough to keep your metabolism going - if you starve yourself, as you have been, then your metabolism either digests stuff it shouldn't (like your muscles, in which case you don't lose weight, because your muscles are dense, energy-consuming tissue), or it shuts down completely, and you don't lose weight because you're not digesting stuff at all.

And of course, we should throw you a Farewell to 300 party! At this rate, you'll never see a number starting with 3 again for the rest of your life. Unless you shift to a base 9 number system of course, but let's not do that. Or unless you get down to 30, but that's probably not recommended unless you go the brain-in-a-jar Futurama route. Anyway, farewell to 300! Don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.
