trackin64's Journal, 12 February 2018

OK, after saying that I was going to do 5:2 I saw an 5-week Keto challenge and decided to go for it. Looks like there's a 5:2 mini challenge built into it anyway. Starting weight entered, daily meals planned for the day.

Watching Nagasu and Rippon perform so well in their Olympics debuts for which they have worked so hard and waited so long is so inspiring and heartwarming. Despite setbacks they have kept their dreams alive over a very long period of time. Made me think: Maybe weight loss and proper weight maintenance is my personal Olympic quest and I freely share this idea with others who might want to adopt the philosophy. Fortunately our "competition" is only our own selves. The "gold medal" is so worth the effort!

Loved watching all the different Olympic categories yesterday. Just love the skaters, though. Beautiful.

Your post reminded me of something I remember from former dieting, Maybe WW. There was someone who used 1/4 lb stick of butter to represent her weight loss. It was quite a visual and very encouraging. I loved it.
