Just so you know i have been working out for a bout a month or so. I just now when I started had been changing my diet so it took me about a month of working out without a change in my eating habits to lose 2or three pounds.
217.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 37.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
losing 5.3 lb a week

That's great though! If you change just one thing at a time, it's not such a "shock" to you and you have a better chance of making the it a permanent lifestyle change. Keep it up!
