After getting up to almost 260 lbs in July, I've slowly worked my way back down the scale and am close to where I was at in April.

My family arrives today for five days, and that will certainly not help. Then there are the approaching holidays. I don't want to even think about it right now. I just pray that I can keep on this losing trend and end the year lighter than I started. I know that if it is to be, it's up to me!
246.2 lb Lost so far: 6.8 lb.    Still to go: 91.2 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I am starting to worry about the holidays already as well. I have set a year end weight goal that shouldn't be too hard to meet and hopefully that goal will help me from doing too bad. I had family visit for 5 days in August and was able to maintain, maybe even lost a pound or so. I ate what they had but kept the portions small. Really small.

You can do it. The worst for me is the carbs and sweets. Pretty much the whole dinner right? I’ve managed to eat fresh fruit as my sweet. You would be surprised how many people enjoy fresh fruit and veg with a heavy meal

Holidays! Well I don't plan to fail I'm stubborn that way. The way I look at it I've had all the goodies before no big deal losing during the holidays shows how strong we are. My goal is to be in onderland by Christmas. Carbs are my enemy love hate relationship. As for the sweets I'm type 2 cannot have them, still want them but I love my legs more! Good luck We can do this!
