mms0823's Journal, 25 March 2010

Gosh ... I don't get it. I did okay the last 2 days and I keep gaining weight ... just from yesterday 1.5lb. Maybe it was the lunch for pizza and dinner. STUPID PIZZA. I was so bummed when I got on the scale this morning because I fought through so many temptations yesterday. I didn't eat any of the easily available cupcakes ... I didn't eat any extra pieces of Pizza or Turkey Rolls. That's alright ... hopefully today will be a better day. Seeing that on the scale ... made me do an extra 13 minutes of running this morning. GRRR!
123.8 lb Lost so far: 6.2 lb.    Still to go: 1.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

keep your head up... getting stressed out about the number on the scale will naturally slow your progress and even reverse it (make you gain)... stress plays a huge part in weight loss so try to relax and be proud of yourself for each thing you accomplish (fighting temptation)...

Also remember that weight fluctuates up & down. Just because you gain a pound or so doesn't mean you're not still okay. Sometimes it's just your body could be slow at digesting foods that are still in your body. But if your normal diet is primarily healthy along with exercise, you'll see the extra pounds come off naturally. So I say keep doing a great job as always and don't worry about the temporary extra pounds.
