I am very disappointed in my current weight. I followed the plan pretty well and I was sure that I lost weight, but i haven't. I feel like quitting or switching diet plans
144.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 24.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Are you exercising at the same time? Could you be you're gaining muscle weight?

Don't give up on the plan!! Here are a few things to consider. Are you keeping a food journal? If not, you should start one at least for a few weeks. It makes it easier to keep track of your carb intake. If you feel you are taking in the appropriate number of carbs and still no loss I would start weighing and measuring my servings just to make certain that I wasn't eating more carbs than I thought. If you haven't been measuring yourself weekly, start now. That way you can see if you are losing inches when the scale doesn't move. Also, now is a good time to evaluate your exercise routine. If you've been doing the same thing for a while, mix it up a bit by increasing intesity or adding a new activity. If you haven't been exercising then start, it's a great way to break through a plateau. See, there are a number of things you can do to get things going again! You CAN do this. You should be pleased that you stayed stable through the holidays...not many of us did that despite our best intentions:)

I know how you feel. I'm sure most of us have been there. Sometimes, the weight almost refuses to budge.. then other times, it falls off. You should choose the diet plan that works for you. I'm sure they all work, if done correctly... it all comes down to cutting back and exercise anyway if you think about it. I'm not saying Atkin's doesn't work b/c I'm living proof that it does but it wasn't a pc. of cake either!! I sometimes wonder if I should try something different as far as dieting but no one is exactly the same and you should do what makes you happy. I wish you all the luck in finding a way to shift the numbers. I know you will do it if you just don't give up!!

Ok so all day as I stuffed my face with CARBS i knew that id have to figure something out soon. I have done some thinking and i decided that Im going to stick with this plan and do amazing on it. Thanks slease for emphasizing the importance of the food journal. I am going to keep one. Lorik, youre right im not going to give up. I CAN DO THIS AND I WILL!!! I just have a question, I have my best friends wedding on April 16. Do you think i can reach my goal weight by then?? (=lose 25 pounds)??
