Snoogies's Journal, 07 May 2017

Today is the end of week 1 of Low Carb. Finally feel that I am in a new zone, carb cravings are pretty much gone, I feel more balanced during the day, no roller coaster effect. My planning is more under control, meal plan is done for the upcoming week, lots of diversity and healthy meals. Just need to put shopping list together and get our supplies for the week. I like not having to deal with meal decisions on a daily basis, not knowing what we are having for our 3 meals tends to lead to grabbing unhealthy options. Also less food waste, there is nothing in the frig that I need to throw out because it went bad (veggies, greens). Tomorrow is official weekly weigh-in and waist measuring. Making chicken, leek and mushroom soup today YUM..

Love love love leeks. Only discovered them a year ago when I started the French Women's Diet for their detox soup, now am hooked. Jamie Oliver has some great recipes to check out.
