Okay, the sisters are back!

I've been doing okay. Staying about the same for about 8 months, between 155 and 160. No greater fluctuations, which feels good.

However, I'm kind of ready to move on. I've been off sugar for about 2 1/2 weeks, but have been otherwise eating normally. I have been walking at least a mile every day in that time also, but the scale has not moved.

I've been allowing myself maple syrup and agave, altho I may need to give those up now. I need to conference with my sis on that. I really need to cut carbs to lose more weight and increase my exercise to at least a sweat a day.

I read someone doing a diet on not eating more cals than you put out in exercise which I like the idea of. But for now, its my own diet.

Looking back I realize I've been the same weight for about 10 months. Better. Good. I'm proud of that. And I know that my body has changed too. More muscle less fat.

Hi, Kim. Yeah, I like the plan of not allowing more in than goes out. I have logged in my food and exercise, and then monitored how long I could go with the green arrows on the diet calendar. It is a good plan, but I should log in the food for the day earlier, because I often wait until the kids go to bed to get onto the PC and log that stuff in. If it is red, meaning more cal intake than output, I need to do something. And now I have the Wii, so I could just rip out some hulas. You have the treadmill. After a while, you pretty much know if you're going to be over. Your plan of sweating daily is better, because limiting food and wasting away with no additional energy is not my plan. And, by the way, I need to log in the weight. I'm at 140, which is still well below where I was before fatsecret, and not a whole lot gained, although it felt like it. Anyway, I'll be posting a journal entry another night. It got late while I did some chores. Much love, Kristin
