Woohoo! 230's!

A bit suprised by the 1 LB loss since yesterday. I have been watching what I eat a bit more this weekend, and the lack of adult beverages too is helping. I tell you sometimes its good to have a weekend to blow off some steam, last weekend was that for me. It also is sort of a "cheat weekend" to throw the body a curveball. This weekend I have obtained, no big deal.

Friday was my cheat day for real, and so I got up and had a good sized ham and eggs sandwich with cheese, orange juice, etc. Then I took my Daughter out to lunch. We were going to go to Chili's, but did Fuddruckers instead. I had a 1/2 lb mushroom and swiss burger, it was OK. I was only able to eat half, so I saved the rest for dinner. I made the realization that those type meals is what I used to eat just about every day. Big Burger & Fries, or Fried Chicken, or greasy chinese food. That was my diet. Now I can barely eat half of it, and that is on my cheat day. Plus, it does not exactly make me feel good. Bloated and gassy, hehe. That used to be my normal state of being. I also got to have some candy on Friday. Filled a few cravings in one day.

It was funny as Friday morning the wife asked me to make my veggies and chicken. I was like "Hell no!". We are a bit out of sync with our diets, and she is not onboard with the indulgence day. I cant help it if she chooses not to listen. I am pretty clear on what my plans are.
I made the chicken and veggies yesterday. We have a rotisserie in our oven, and I tried it out. The chickens came out good, not bad for a 1ST attempt. Like I am learning in science, there are no failed experiments, I just know what not to do again. I need to remember to get the right spices, and I need to turn the heat up to like 450 next time.

Today we have to go to the Embassy to get her passport renewed. She may need to travel soon as her mother is ill. I had a reminder set for April (6 months in advance) and it expires in Sept, but we need to get it going now.

Anyway, it is going to be a good day. I have biology homework to get done, and lots of studying needed. I spent all of friday working on Genetics, and that is not going to be on next weeks quiz. So back to cell division and mioisis crap! Yech. I would rather be gaming.

239.2 lb Lost so far: 29.8 lb.    Still to go: 54.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
