Hmm, Up .2 since yesterday, no biggie. It was a let down, but I'm OK.

Today is my indulgence day. I am going to head straight on into it too! I think a cheese omellete is in order at the moment.

I have been downloading LOTS of music. Mainly stuff from the 70's and 80's. Lots of greatest hits albums, Journey, Beatles, U2, and lots of other classic and 80's rock. Some 90's even. I got an ipod classic for free from one of my banks rewards program, so I want to fill it up with 160GB of tunes. PS, I am not paying apple for a single song! I may have to resort to amazon mp3 downloads for a couple, Glen Frey, and Alex Lifeson solo works. Apparently they are not popular enough to make it onto the newsgroups. Other than that, it is suprising what you can find out there on the interwebs. I was able to jam to music, build up my library a great deal, without drinking beer or eating crap! Yay!

Yesterday went very well. Good day at work, lots of Biology Homework done, mainly genetics labs. Very confusing those genotypes are! Dominant, recessive, etc. Yech! I do not want to see it today! We have over a week for that test.

I did sort of pig out on Mongolian BBQ yesterday, and my snack schedule was pretty full too. Still stayed under RDI I think. Need to enter in my healthy pizza from last nite. So that is probably why I did not lose today. Although I think my weight loss comes in some type of cycle, despite how I am eating. Maybe the experts can chime in there.

My daughter failed her GED pre-test, so that makes her unable to take the test this month. She has not dedicated herself to studying, and I have not pushed her very hard. Hopefully it will be a wake up call. I think she can do it, she just needs to apply herself. As she is 17 there is not much I can do to enforce that. I would like to kick her butt, and kick her butt out onto the street, but alas, I cannot do that. She also has some medical conditions that makes her dependent on us for "I dont know how long". Sigh. Well, at least I only have 1-2 major stressors in my life now, rather than juggling a half dozen like the old days. I need a donut! :-O

So, It is going to be a good day. I have a new video game, Kingdoms of Amalar, which I intend to get into today. And a few other things on the agenda, but not much this weekend. The sectarian violence here is supposed to be ramping up outside (Anniversary is Feb 14), and the bosses say to stay in and be careful. Not that I need much encouragement to do that. :-P

sometimes you have to fail to know, that you have to move forward... i'm a person who never has to learn for a test and always pass. even now in my studies...maybe your daughter needed to fail... wish you wonderful day and hope that there isn't any problems with these sectarian violences...
