Nice weigh in today despite yesterday. 246 even!

Started the day yesterday by jamming to some music. This in turn made me thirsty for beer! We ended up getting invited to lunch with some of my sons baseball team mates, and their parents, which are friends of the family. Long story short, lots of food and beer was consumed yesterday, and I sill lost weight! I did still watch what I ate pretty well, except for a creme brullee which was yummy! I reckon yesterday is a cheat day, with alcohol. Wonder how that works out. I reckon I will have to limit those days to once a week too, but hey that's not such a bad thing to do anyway.

Wife and I had a good time after listening to some music and just chilling until I went to beddy. We were able to talk about some issues that you only do when it "altered states" so it was cool too.

Ended the day with a broken crutch tip, so my metal crutch was poking through the rubber. Aluminum + tile/marble floors make for some treacherous late night trips to the potty! Corrected that issue this AM with a new set of crutches (only ~25 dollars, but need to find out about these tips).

Tomorrow I am working a half day, as I have doctor in the AM. I will get my wound checked out and hopefully be able to start walking or putting weight on my foot. I have been a little already when I am standing up, putting a few pounds of weight on it. I am also doing some leg lift type exercises and "peddling in air" type things to get that left leg used to moving again. It is very weak presently.

Today I am grateful for naps! I am also very grateful for my wife and kids, our extended bahrain family who we keep close. I am grateful for my job. I am also grateful for the healing power of man. I am also grateful for the hydrating power of water! I need a soda!!
