Ok, so I was going to wait for Feb 7 to weigh in, but I was at the dr office tonight so I had to peek. Even right after dinner and on my cycle, I've lost almost 6 lbs. Yay!! I know my graph shows 5 lbs, but when I weighed in originally, I didn't know you could put point whatever lbs. I was 284.8 lbs. Tonight I was 279.0 lbs. Still not to my first goal, but I still have 3 weeks before then and my first goal is only 10 lbs loss. I'm on my way and it feels so good.
279.0 lb Lost so far: 5.8 lb.    Still to go: 139.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

That is soooo awesome!!! I was reading some of your other entries and I am really impressed by your determination and healthy choices you are making. I understand how difficult it is to stick to healthy eating when your options are limited (ie being at someone's house, on the road, etc) but you are doing amazingly well. Keep it up lady!

Thank you. The encouragement and support helps a lot too. I've really been impressed with my son too. He's a very active teenager who's weight is exactly where it needs to be and he eats everything under the sun except fruits and vegetables. That said, he's been very encouraging and not complained about the changes that I've made, even when it means that our monthly splurge of eating out may be on hold for a little while until I get the hang of this new eating plan. Teenagers can be so opinionated and crude these days, but I have a truly awesome son.
