Good day all. Journal is late today. 247.6..Weigh in went nicely today. I found out i am in the orange zone! Wooo! Out of red!

It has been quite hectic getting Son enrolled in school. Today wifey took him out to the school, made payment, and got him some uniforms. He is going to have to wear a uniform. He was super excited last week about school, but now not so much. hehe! I love it. All the complaining about homeschooling, and wanting to go to regular school, and now the tables are turning. Anyway, I hope it all works out, and am confident it will. He is a good student and home schooling did not work well for him, he lacks a certain type of dedication. Home schooling is tough with certain subjects, I know from my college classes.

Yesterday went fine. Today our family is getting on each others nerves. I am trying to take the high road. Luckily we are not eating from emotions or stress. Thankfully I am able to recognize today danger signs, and try to keep on an even keel to be able to stay on my journey. Keeping this journal and and fatsecret close at heart is working well for me today. Luckily my wife is on a similar journey, she is exercising a lot at the gym with aerobics classes and dance classes. I think its great.

My foot is feeling better. I am getting around a bit better, but it is still extremely strenuous to walk on crutches. I can get around the house ok, but worry about work. Yesterday we went to the bank, and moving a few hundred yards/meters is quite tough on me. I had to sit and rest a few times. That is what I will have to do next week to get to work. I go back in 6 more days. I am really looking forward to it though. Mainly for the social aspect, and being back on a routine.

Gratitude! Today I am grateful for my wife, even though she is very grumpy today. We all have those days. I am grateful for my kids, even though they ask outrageous questions. I am grateful for my journey, and being able to stay on it longer this time around.


247.6 lb Lost so far: 21.4 lb.    Still to go: 62.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
