I really feel like I have been trying hard this week to follow the induction phase of this Atkins diet. I've had few carbs, all in the form of vegetables, but still nothing. I know this diet works because I have followed in the past (I did not know I was following the Atkin's diet at the time - I was trying to naturally control my candidia symptoms - very similar diet) and lost 85 pounds in about 7 months. I expected a weight loss of about 2.5 pounds a week, but with all my trying I'm still exactly where I was last Sunday. This is frustrating, but I'm not going to give up. Maybe it will kick in in week 2. Good luck to the rest of you, and I hope you had better success.
158.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 6.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Ive been on atkins for the last 3 weeks, and managed to lose 14lbs. I feel like the weight loss has stopped, and getting frustrated, however i will push on. I work nights and that totally screws up my body. I would continue to push forward also...your almost there 13lbs to go!!! You can do it!

I've only lost 15 in about a month on Atkins. However, I have noticed that my body has changed. Wish I'd done measurements because clothes are fitting that haven't in a year. I have about 10 to go. I'm just going to stick with it because I've made it this long, I'm not going to quit now. I find it easy to do.
