Well, Ches surely has woken me up to the definition of dedication! I guess I better start walking the walk more and typing about goals less. That man sure knows how drive to a goal!

I have nothing to whine about. I am up 7 pounds as expected from 1.5 days of bad eating (really only adds up to a few deadly hours).

Went to my workout this morning, had breakfast, and now its 24 hour fast time. Maybe I will just drink water today and see what I am made of. Today at work they have candy, beer, and cookies. Yes, beer! I'm not even walking into that cafeteria...

Maybe I will take a lunchtime walk and try to lose some of this weight I gained over the weekend.

Fast away Ny_Shelly. I miss working in NYC back in the 90's. It was OK to have a drink during lunch. Not here in Boston. Turn this around. FOCUS. FOCUS. Have a bad meal here and there, no more bad meals back to back to back. OK?

Steering clear of the cafeteria is a wise choice. I can't imagine beer at work!! You would get fired for that here in Missouri!

You really didn't gain seven pounds. You're probably retaining water due to a lot of salt consumption in bad eating. Give it a day or two with a lot of water...you will see a big drop. That happened to me over Memorial Day--I was up 7 lbs--and two days later I was down 5. Hang in there!

Short achievable targets - eat well all day to day, then string them together. Agree with AZ, likely water. Eat right drink tons of water and things will straighten out. Keep doing what has obviously worked.
