I've still been being careful about what and when I'm eating. It seems to be helping a lot. Another thing that I've noticed, something that sort of came on its own, is that my attitude towards food has changed. I have always been the sort of person that would get excited about eating, especially what I was eating. I really feel that all that enthusiasm about food would lead to overeating. Not binging in the way that some ppl have disorders, but definitely eating more than I should. Lately, I've been so focused on getting my metabolism back on track after a decade of yo-yo dieting, that I haven't even been looking at food the same way. Now, it's more math than anything... I'm analyzing each meal by its protien and carbs and fats and calories. All of a sudden rather than eating for taste and enjoyment, I'm simple fueling up. If I happen to enjoy what I'm eating, its a total bonus! I realized this new behavior yesterday while I was eating my lunch, lentil soup... If you have had it, then you know that its not really something with a ton of flavor. I don't hate it, but I certainly don't like it. My friend was there while I was eating it and she made a sarcastic comment about how "yummy" it looked... I thoughtlessly defended my brown soup by informing her of the fiber and protien content and how important that was to body in the middle of the day... Hahaha... Thus, my conclusion that I have reached a positive point, without even thinking about it. I have changed my relationship with food!
141.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 6.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
