Today is Wife's birth day. We went celebrating yesterday for Indulgence Day, and it was pretty decent. We had chinese food, and I usually love this, but I gotta admit that it just wasn't fulfilling. I think my taste buds are slowly changing (again) and it all just seemed too greasy and flavorless. Oh well. I did pretty okay on my calories yesterday, I made it to the 3600 (such a HIGH number), and stopped in time.

Starting today and until next Saturday I am back at 1600 calories. I like it here SO much better.

I didn't make it to my goal of last weeks weight loss. I hope I will do better on that this coming week. Wife and I have talked about eating less starch this coming week. Of course, wife gets what she wants to eat tonight, but after that no potatoes or carroes this next week. I will cut out all white bread, and only an a little rye bread for breakfast and maybe lunch. I baked low fat rye bread - so much better than store bought!

Anyways, today is relaxing at home. We had a plan to go to the gym, Wife and I together, but she's been in pain all night with a bad back. I have a feeling she won't be interested in going, because of her pains. That's fair. Besides, it's her birthday and if she wants to hang at home and have me by her side, then that's what she'll get. :)

Have a great day in FatSecret land! Life is good!

They say your taste buds change every 7 years (at least I've heard that a lot lately)! I'd be interested in your low fat rye recipe, if it isn't a family secret! ;P

Recipe is very simple. Buy mix in store. Add east and water. Rise 6 hours. Bake. Enjoy! :) It's a super-multi grain, low fat bread. Never tried it before, but will DEFINITELY try again (unless it dries out in a day or two, then it's no-go). :)

Oh, and my taste buds change constantly these days. I don't like grease and fat any more. I don't like sauces too much. I don't like butter, and don't really care for cheese. It's kinda annoying to get picky, but then again, look what I'm cutting out. All the bad stuff! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mrs. P. I hope you have a wonderful day. And Keld, good deal on the bread baking.
