I will take it. This weekend was horrible. I had to start a project in my bathroom about 4 months early because we were having a small problem. My wife and I noticed some mold on the wall by our sink, so on Friday I started to take the wall down, thinking that it was just a little mold on the outside of the wall. Was I wrong. The entire inside of the wall, including the wall behind it was covered in mold. Let's say that I spend my day Friday demoing a bathroom, and I will consider that my exercise for the day seeing I didn't make it to the gym. Thank god we started buying things last year to prep for this renovation. Otherwise it would have been a tad more expensive of a "fix" than it was. Since it was only the one wall, we are going to leave that down until we are ready to do the rest of the bathroom. It is only a minor inconvenience but it is probably better to do it all at once than a part now, and the rest later.

Thursday evening my youngest went to the ER and was diagnosed with pneumonia. The ER docs said that she was the 4th kid that week to come in with that. So, she stayed home Friday to get better. I think we finally got her fever to break over the weekend as well. So things are looking better for her, hopefully on Friday the doc will say things are looking awesome and the pneumonia is gone.

Tomorrow my wife and I go to the hospital for her consultation for bariatric surgery. We are going to check out a different hospital, because we want to have a good background of different places. We know people who have went to different places and have good and bad reviews of them. We just want to take our time and make sure that everything goes according to plan.

Hope you all had a great weekend. Have a wonderful Monday.

You might want to get some professional analysis of that mold. If it is the dangerous kind, there are steps you can take to kill it. The spores travel far beyond the visible location. It could, in fact, be related to your child's pneumonia. I once lived in a moldy house and kept having what I thought was flu (and wondering why it was repeating) complete with high fevers (not typical for me) and coughing. I am more sensitive to mold than some folks but others in the house were also ill. Best wishes with everything you have going on - full plate, huh?
