Don't worry about it, likely holding additional water in your muscles. I understand the frustration. But really, it's more about body composition at this point than a number on the scale right?

Get a "Myo Body Tape Measure" from Amazon. Measure: mid-Calf, mid-Thigh, Waist (narrowest point above naval...usually 1-2"), Chest, and mid-Biceps. Keep those in a spreadsheet and update weekly....

if you're a woman, add in "Hips" at widest point. Men store excess in the gut...period, it spills out to other areas eventually, but every man will store starting in the gut. For women, your fat storage areas are:Triceps, Gut, Hips, Thighs", and this all depends on your body type. Apple, Pear, Hour Glass, Rectangle. If you are Pear shaped and have excess Fat in your Thighs and Hips but a fairly small waist, your health risks are lower than someone Apple shaped with excess fat in the gut, as this is where your organs are. Outside of those areas, there's nothing else to measure. Now if you have calipers and self perform a 3-position check for Women, and a 1-position check for men, then you'll know everything. Total Weight, Body Measurements, and Body Fat %. Once you have those numbers, the weight on the scale becomes a guide, not an absolute.

Salt and excess carbs contribute to water retention. Avoid those for a few days, and it might help!
