Not losing, but not gaining. I am staying true to my step and calorie intake goals. Have added vitamin B12 daily (supposed to help with slow metabolism). No change in weight loose, but I'm feeling pretty peppy. I am discouraged that United Health Care (my employer's insurance carrier) and OPTUM Rx (it's pharmacy partner) have apparently changed a 'formulary' and will no longer pay for the cholesterol/blood pressure medication I've been on for a year (Livolo) because it's too expensive. Even though they know that the previous medication (Simvastatin) caused me body aches which the switch to Livolo alleviated, they say that I must change back to that or some other generic called atorvastatain, which I have no idea about the side effects. Also discouraging that they didn't contact either me OR my doctor about this change, and now I'm about to run out of Livolo. Welcome to medicine in the Affordable Care Act era. Sadly, My company and I together pay more than $1200 PER MONTH for this coverage.....
