MrsTofu's Journal, 15 January 2016

I have been using a scale that isn't calibrated correctly. (It doesn't read zero when it is not in use, it reads about -5lb, so trying to remember which way to change the actual reading it gives me is an interesting/ humbling illustration of my challenges with simple, mental math.)

In other news my job search is over. :-D I start my new job on Monday and my last day at my old job is Jan 30. (I have a lot on my plate right now so I am not ready to try and pull two jobs at the same time long term, especially when I am fortunate enough not to need to do that.)
135.0 lb Lost so far: 37.0 lb.    Still to go: 5.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

minus/remove the 5Ib from the actual weight.

I think actually that I need to add 5lb to what the scale says because it's "0" is a negative number, but I confuse myself that way because initially that's what I am inclined to do. I realized something was off when I was thinking that my weight was 125 since I know I hadn't lost 10 pounds in the past two weeks. The scale reads 130lb when I stand on it, so to correct for the miscalibration I think it is supposed to read 135lb currently.

You're right Mrs Tofu, add five pounds to the weight it gives you. Congrats on the new job, I hope it's everything you want it to be. Going to be a busy two weeks, take it one day at a time, it will be over before ya know it! :)
