JDbowler's Journal, 06 January 2016

Hello to all my FS friends. It has been a long time since I have logged anything on here. I cannot say that the holidays treated me bad, because it wasn't the holidays fault. It was my own. I stopped logging, stopped measuring, stopped exercising, basically I quit without even realizing it. Well, today brings a new start. It's time go to back to what I did, and fix this lifestyle change back to the good momentum I had going.

Things are going to change for my family. My wife is going to have bariatric surgery this year. She has done research, talked to friends and family that have done it, and even met with one facility/doctor. We have another consultation scheduled soon, so it is nothing that she is diving into without having the knowledge of first. She is a candidate for it, I am not. I don't think I would be ready to do it anyway, but she is. It isn't for vanity reasons, but for health reasons. So, I will keep you updated about when it will happen, and how she is doing.

I missed you all in the 2 months that I took off. I missed the motivation, the fun stories, and all the success that I saw from everyone. I will get back into my daily recording groove again. Hope you all had a great holiday, and may the new year bring you all happiness.
